|Education Above All and Reach Out To Asia Unite to Give Hope to Millions of Children and Youth Across the World|
Education Above All (EAA) foundation has announced it is expanding to incorporate Reach Out To Asia (ROTA) as one of its core programs. The merger will complement EAA’s mission to ensure inclusive and equitable quality education for vulnerable and marginalized people in the developing world. EAA champions and defends the basic right to education around the world with 50 projects in 43 countries. The addition of ROTA, which has international projects and has built deep links with communities in Qatar, adds to the foundation’s ability to build and expand local and regional partnerships. ROTA will join other EAA programs, Educate a Child (EAC), Al Fakhoora, and Protect Education in Insecurity and Conflict (PEIC), to drive education for all. EAA’s scope will be enhanced by ROTA’s commitment to grassroots campaigning, and ROTA’s international projects will help further the foundation’s global reach.

|ROTA Announces Empower 2017 Conference|
Reach Out To Asia (ROTA) has officially announced its annual youth-led conference, EMPOWER 2017, which is set to take place from March 2 – 4 at the Hamad bin Khalifa University (HBKU) Student Center in Education City. Mr. Essa Al Mannai, Executive Director of ROTA, will attend the conference, while Dr. Khalid Al-Sulaiti, General Manager of the Cultural Village Foundation-Katara, will give the opening speech.

|ROTA Volunteers Teach Arabic To Migrant Workers Through Arabic literacy Program|
Volunteer tutors recently attended a ‘Training for Trainers’ workshop hosted by Reach Out To Asia (ROTA), as part of its Adult Arabic Literacy (RAAL) program, at Qatar Foundation’s (QF) Recreation Center. Students from the Academic Bridge Program took part in the training course, designed to equip volunteer tutors with the necessary skills to effectively facilitate the RAAL initiative. The workshop covered a range of topics, including ROTA’s literacy curriculum, practical information relating to teaching Arabic, issues facing low-income migrant workers, methods to effectively facilitate adult learning, and community-based learning tools.

|ROTA Volunteers Complete Family Home Renovation As Part of 'Reach Into Qatar' Project|
Reach Out To Asia (ROTA) volunteers recently carried out renovation works at a house in Al Gharafa as part of its ‘Reach into Qatar’ campaign, which extends social development assistance to families in need across the country. As part of the community development project funded by Da’am, the Social and Sports Activities Support Fund, 50 ROTA youth volunteers assisted in completing a full makeover of the family home.
