Reach Out To Asia to Hold iEARN Workshops
Reach Out To Asia (ROTA) announced that it will hold two workshops under the iEARN-Qatar program for teacher development. By participating in the workshops and implementing an iEARN project, teachers will be able to fulfill most of the National Professional Standards for Teachers (NPST) requirements.

ROTA to host iEARN Annual Conference and Youth Summit in 2013 in Qatar
In an announcement sure to positively impact the education sector in the country, Reach Out To Asia (ROTA) announced that Qatar has been selected to host the 2013 iEARN Annual Conference and Youth Summit, for the first time in the GCC. The conference, to take place in July 2013, will gather experts from all over the globe under one roof to discuss issues pertaining to education and the enhancement of cooperation between scholastic institutions.

ROTA Honors Ramadan Partners and Volunteers
Reach Out To Asia (ROTA), in honor of those who participated and partnered with ROTA for its “ROTA Reaches Out To All Children” Ramadan 2011 campaign, held an reflection event as a token of appreciation for their efforts. Over seventy volunteers and partner representatives attended, with volunteers receiving certificates, and partners awarded.

Reach Out To Asia’s Ramadan 2011 Campaign Coming to a Close
With the end of Ramadan quickly approaching, and the devout getting ready to commemorate the Eid celebrations, Reach Out To Asia’s volunteer-driven “ROTA Reaches Out to All Children” campaign is beginning to wind down. In the true spirit of the month, iftars, housing renovations, and Garangaou celebrations were all held with the unwavering support of ROTA’s local partners.

Reach Out To Asia and Vodafone sponsored Youth clubs heading for success
Scores of youth across Qatar have been benefitting from the Reach Out To Asia (ROTA) Youth Service Clubs, funded by a generous donation from Vodafone Qatar. The Clubs have been very active this year with milestone projects implemented by the groups, and participation in events such as the EMPOWER 2011 conference held in April.

Sheikha Mayassa To Open ROTA's Empower National Youth Conference
Reach Out To Asia (ROTA) Chairperson H.E. Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad Al Thani will open the 3rd Annual EMPOWER National Youth Conference which begins 14th April at the Qatar Foundation Student Center. Against a background of youth leading change across the Arab world, EMPOWER 2011 will unfold with anintellectual, stimulating panel discussion on issues concerning the youth of Qatar.
